Sally’s Mobile Phone Challenge: Chihuly’s Basket Series

With this series Chihuly liberated the glassblowing process from the restrictions of symmetry, allowing glass to respond naturally to gravity.
Chihuly’s basket series marked a turning point in which he freed himself from the tradition of symmetry in glass blowing.
