Lens-Artists Challenge #178 – You Choose

This week, Tina encourages us to use our imagination to take your post anywhere we’d like.

As we are approaching the end of the year, we finally see leaves are changing colors (it’s a little bit late this year) and falling. So my choice is “Where Have All the Flowers Gone?”

Though flowers are gone, we are surrounded by colorful leaves and seeds. As we know, leaves manufacture and store food, taken in carbon dioxide, release oxygen, absorb and exude liquids, filter air, and orient themselves to capture sunlight, so to generate energy for plants to produce flowers and make seeds.

Butterflies and bees are gone, too. But birds are here to enjoy berries. 🙂 These photos were taken a week or so ago.

Thank you for joining in our Celebrating theme last week. Your photos of food, laughter, holiday lights, colors, nature… have reminded us that “Life should not only be lived, it should be celebrated.”  Many thanks to you for taking time to share your heartwarming stories of family and friends gathering. We hope you will join Tina’s “Your Choice”. Please be sure to link them to Tina’s post, and to use the Lens-Artists Tag to help us find you in the WP reader.

Next Week, Patti will host LAPC # 179. Be sure to visit her site.

Happy holidays. Stay safe and stay well.
