This small tree is trying to survive on a big rock at the Tent Rocks, New Mexico.

Here, you see a small tree standing tall on top of a giant rock at Grand Canyon.

  2. It is amazing at how tenacious trees can be. I have seen many at National Parks that are hundreds of years old but very small. Nature is able to overcome what seems to be impossible odds. A good lesson for us in these beautiful photos. ☺️

  3. Your tree photos are wonderful, Amy. I especially like that first one with the stalwart tree and the crack that is visible in which it draws its nutrients. Terrific angle! And nice tribute to our outgoing leader….

  4. Well it is a big day in the USA today! We wait and wonder North of the border. Loved your images Any which really are exclamations on the definition of big and small. Beautifully captured.
