Journaling Through My Lens (May, week 3)

This is the last journaling of my trip to Taiwan.

The Taroko National Park here is one of Taiwan’s most iconic natural attractions.  There are endless breathtaking marble cliffs, deep gorges…

This long and winding scenic drive goes through the coastal line of eastern Taiwan.

We were constantly in awe with the views of sheer cliffs, crashing waves, and unspoiled sea.

The beaches below are full of different sizes of marble rocks and stones.

We loved emerald-green waters, lush vegetation, and rocky cliffs of this lake area (outside of Taipei). A wonderful place to enjoy the tranquility as you walk along the trail.

“Wealth I ask not, hope nor love, Nor a friend to know me;

All I ask, the heaven above;

And the road below me.”

— Robert Louis Stevenson

Which way for FOTD

This unique, beautiful tree is growing on rocks.

A wonderful trail along the river outside of Taipei:

Beautiful hibiscus in Taiwan:

Hibiscus has hundreds of species native to tropical regions. I have never seen this species before, blooms are huge and rich in colors.
