Journaling Through My Lens (June, week 5)

My journaling series is entering the second half or 2024. I hope to continue to find interesting photos and/or stories for you.

Due to the heat, we have moved my daily activities and running errands to early in the morning. The triple digit heat is across Texas and some other states. And, the heat warning continues.

Most birds probably have gone to the north for cooler temperatures, this one finds this nice shady place to rest.

London’s smallest library is found on FB. What a beautiful idea to preserve the telephone booth (box) and encourage reading! Yes, traveling is always exciting, but reading is inspiring, to say the least.

“There is a time for many fledgling artist where one’s taste exceeds one’s abilities. The only way to get through this period is to make things anyway.”  —  quote from the “Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow” by Gabrielle Zevin

I certainly can relate to this quote when I’m making posts to share with my blog friends and followers . Many thanks to your support and kind comments.

  1. I’m sorry you’re overwhelmed by the heat, but glad that you’re finding the energy to continue your journal, which I always enjoy. These phone box libraries are fairly common throughout the UK. An excellent use for them, now they are redundant as phone boxes.

  2. Gosh, I love that telephone booth! What an excellent use for it. Your other photos have a nice calming effect … I don’t feel the heat although I can imagine it. Our heat index has been in the triple digits, and the humidity feels just as high 🥵
