This week, James Brown (Jazzibee), our guest host, leads the “Looking Up, Looking Down” challenge. He encourages us to show “how the effects of what you can capture at these angles and get a different perspective on our view of the world.”
It’s always fun to look down to capture the wonderful views from the airplane window.
I still can feel the excitement when we were standing on the hill and looking down on Muchi Puchi and Peru valley.
A beautiful Peru Valley from the top:
I was down on the ground to get a different view of these aspen trees:
Looking up the mirror at the Amsterdam train station watching the traffic was fun:
Catch me if you can! 🙂
James reminds us, “The world looks a bit different depending on your viewpoint. In taking photographs I’ve always been encouraged to shoot from various angles as a slight change.” Thank you for sharing your photo skills, James. Click here to view his fabulous photos from various angles for this challenge. Hope you will join us. Be sure to tag Len-Artists and make a link to his site here. Special thanks to Anne of Slow Shutter Fill the Frame theme. Thank you for sharing your beautiful responses.
Patti will host next week’s challenge, be sure to visit her site.
Great collection, Amy! I still remember the feeling at the first glimpse of Machu Pichu. To me, I think not many moments in life felt like that. I also love the aspen and the Amsterdam ceiling – well chosen!
What a great selection! My favourites are the aspen trees and Amsterdam station, but I also loved being reminded of my own visit to Machu Pichu and the impact it had on me as I looked down on it 🙂
Wonderful post, Amy. I agree the reflections at the Amsterdam station is unique but my favourite is the aspen one. Definitely different and interesting angle.
OMG Amy, there’s so much to like in this post! I’ll have to choose the Amsterdam Train Station as a favorite–the mirrored reflections and crowd. Super shot!
Amy, these are truly great photos. The Machu Picchu photos brought back great memories for me. I gotta say, though, that the reflection photo is my favorite. What a capture!
Excellent. I LOVE that mirrored train station ceiling. Unique POV!
