This week, Ann-Christine leads Alone Time,”…time spent by an individual or a couple apart from others. It is often used to ground oneself, or to do something creative.”
“There is a magic in walking alone, in thinking alone…”
― Mehmet Murat Ildan
We can always learn to enjoy being alone from nature.
“I live in that solitude which is painful in youth, but delicious in the years of maturity.”
— Albert Einstein
So very true.
“Without great solitude no serious work is possible.”
— Pablo Picasso
Alone time allows us to have a better focus. I know I can photography a little better when I have alone time

That dear little bird on the tree stump is alone but I don’t think he is lonely. Your quotes are perfect for the photos. I enjoyed this post very much Amy
Lovely captures and great quotes. I often like to go photographing with a friend, but I do appreciate being all alone with my camera and nature. Then I feel completely disconnected with the rest of the world.
Thank you, Donna! I wish I had stories to share like you did. I thought these quotes say it all. Part of me feel that I’m constantly connected with people in the blogosphere,… even when I’m alone. 🙂
Beautiful work, Amy. I especially love that opening photo!

Wonderfully paired quotes, Amy. I like the Einstein quote. As I’ve aged I’ve learned to really appreciate solitude. Beautifully done, my friend.

I feel the same Greta. I went a trip with a group of photographers, everyone found his/her own spot to shoot quietly. 🙂
