Cee’s FOD–Monarda fistulosa

Monarda fistulosa’s common name is Wild bergamot. with brilliant blooms.ย  It’s a well known and highly adaptable native plant that thrives in all but the wettest soils. So they grow well in this part of Texas.

Many thank to Cee for her Flower of the Day allowing us to share the beauty of flowers and leaves.

  1. Thanks, dear Amy, for introducing us to this plant. If it is a bergamotte it should grow here well in this warm maritime clima. We’ll have a look for it.
