Cee’s FOD– Foxgloves

Foxgloves for Cee’s Flower of the Day.

The Anglo-Saxon name was “foxes glofa” (“the glove of the fox”) because it looked like it would fit a fox’s paw.

Happy spring!

  1. One of my favorite flowers, Amy. My mother, at 90, still cultivates them and they are stunning. I will always associate them with her, which is particularly sweet. Beauty!

    • Appreciate you letting me know your mother still cultivates them. It’s not easy to grow in part of TX, so I go to garden to enjoy the beauty. 🙂
