Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #190: Close and Closer

For LAPC #190, Patti challenges us to move closer to your subject.

Poppies were very showy when the temperature reached high 70F. Sadly, they were gone quickly when the cold front came in.

When my camera got closer to the poppy, I could see the beautiful details of the stamen. Accidently, I captured a small bee.

Mr. B is always gentle and friendly. He walked up to me, then stood close to me.

A few minutes later, I moved my camer even closer to him. Here you can see the reflections in his eye. Thanks to Mr. B’s patience.

Patti suggests, “Post one photo or a series of photos showing what happened when your subject filled the frame. Did this reveal new details? Did this eliminate distracting or unnecessary elements in the photo?…”  Patti’s beautiful images show these differences. We hope you will join us. ink your responses to her original here, and to use the Lens-Artists Tag to help us find you.

Many thanks to Tina for her Odds and Ends challenge theme. It was fun to see the various odds and ends through your findings. Next week, it’s Ann-Christine’s turn, be sure to visit her site.
