Sunday Stills: Are You a #Bird Feeder?

Terri says, “February is National Bird-feeding Month. The Sunday Stills photo challenge has shared this theme three years in a row to educate the public on the seasonal journeys of birds, and help bring awareness to keeping wild birds fed during the harsh winter months in the northern hemisphere.” Here is my entry.

Birds are well fed at the local zoo:

Bird feeder in my backyard, I get to watch the Blue Jays, Woodpeckers, Cardinals, and more.

  1. Love your backyard birds! I had to laugh at the Woodpecker. The last time I took my camera outside to take bird photos I saw one hanging on the feeder just like that. As soon as he sensed I was there he took off to look for food on a palm tree.

  2. I definitely am a bird feeder! I have several feeders and really enjoy seeing the visitors that come through, especially in early spring when I see some migratory birds. Your photos are so gorgeous, Amy! They are exceptional shots!

  4. Hi, dear Amy,
we didn’t know that there exists a bird feeding month. Anyway, especially Dina is feeding our birds all year round.
    Great shots. Thanks for sharing
