I hope it’s not. I’ve got a few like that still hanging on in my garden, and I can’t get out of my head ‘Tis the Last Rose of Summer’, a song my mother used to sing at family gatherings. She had a lovely voice, obviously, and the song and the last roses of summer make for happy memories.
I think we see more pretty roses during the fall than summer. It’s still pretty warm during daytime, but it can get down to 40 F at night. Hope these roses will last a little longer. 🙂
