This week, Tina invites us to to share our images of Interesting Architecture.
The roof is the dominant feature of traditional Japanese architecture. The slightly curved eaves extend far beyond the walls, covering verandas, and the weight is supported by a complex bracket structure.

Machu Picchu stands 2,430 meters above sea-level, in the middle of a tropical mountain forest, in an extraordinarily beautiful setting. Its giant walls, terraces and ramps seem as if they have been cut naturally in the continuous rock escarpments. –UNESCO
