Cellpic Sunday – 25 July 2021
This week, John posted a farm land cellpic showing how the factory-like equipment and the manpower being used in the harvest. Here is my entry for Johnbo’s Cellpic.
Rice in Japan is grown in small water paddies. In July, water is temporarily drained from the field, it’s called ‘nakaboshi’.
The purpose of this unique process is to oxygenate soil and rice plants enabling to produce much higher quality of rice. Once you’ve tried Japanese rice, it’s hard to switch to other kinds of rice.
