These photos were captured when we were visiting the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building in 2018.
There were several beautiful sculptures in this building.
The display below was made by hands with wheats, grass, tree branches/leaves, wood slides, bamboo, and seeds… symbolizing an abundance resources and good wishes for prosperity. Our tour guide also explained that it was a very special gift to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building from the Meiji Jingu Shrine.
The Olympic logo was already displayed in the building then:
