Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #157: Getting Away

This week, Rusha leads the LAPC #157: Getting Away. Rusha gives us an opportunity to sharing our short trips, logn stays, cruises, solo drives…

For this theme, I select a few photos of our beach getaways in different places.

We do need to get away from our routines just for a while. Laguna Beach, CA:

The beautiful white sand and clear, shallow water make Clearwater Beach a popular playground for family. Clearwater Beach, Florida:

Miami has a lot to offer. The walk along the beach is fun and relazing:

In Hawaii, you can enjoy long stretches of sand beach, beautiful blue ocean, palm tress, spotting whales in winter, watching birds… all in one day.

Rusha (https://ohtheplaceswesee.com) shares beautiful photos of her getawys, from Annapolis, to Great Wall, Provence, Cambodia, and more. She encourages us to share, ‘whether you head to a favorite place each year, or you like to travel to destinations far and wide…”  Hope you’ll share your favorite getaways with us.

We invite you to join us when Beth Smith of Wandering Dawgs leads Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #158. Her theme is “Along Back Country Roads.”

  2. I am soooo glad you posted photos of all these beaches. Would you believe I’ve never been to any of them, unless the one in Hawaii is on the island of Maui. I’ve always wanted to see Laguna Beach and Miami Beach, but not sure now that I ever will. That’s what makes these challenges special . . . we get away to wherever our friends take us! Thanks for meeting and exceeding the challenge this week!

  4. These look like such wonderful places to get away to. And the airplane….when I was driving back from the horse show I drove past the airport and saw a plane rising up into the sky on its way to somewhere. I had a pang of wanting to be on that plane. I am so looking forward to the day when I would be getting on a flight.

  5. Good morning, Amy!
A great contribution to the subject. The picture/place I would like most is the second last. And the last one might put me off travelling, I think. 😉
    Have a wonderful day,

      • We had a wonderful trip to California, and we hope we’ll have another one or two short trips this year. As to my pictures: just now I’m editing still those from our trip to San Angelo in June.

Thank you for visiting! Love to hear from you...
