What an arresting white ! This was a treat .
I love the white, something about it appeals to me about its smooth and simple look.

Hi Debra, We took the trip to Spain with Rich Steves some years ago, have learned so much about the history and culture.
Perfect illustrations for the colour white. I especially liked the Mexican one.
Thank you for taking time to comment, Mari! There are some unique buildings in Pueblo.
Reminds me of all the lovely whites in Greece. I like them all, but I like the shape of the pueblo in the bottom.
Glad you enjoyed the last image. Some years ago we took a day-long cruise from Athens, and really enjoyed it. Hope to see more when life back to normal…
Thank you, MM 🙂
Your photos are so vibrant! I never knew that white was used to protect buildings from the sun, but it makes perfect sense. Now I know, thanks to you. 😎
Thank you for your comment. It does make sense, doesn’t? Glad you enjoyed it. 🙂
You’re welcome. I did enjoy it! 🙂
Love this series and the architecture.
Thank you for your visiting, Cindy! Yes, beautiful architecture in Spain. 🙂
I always love these white Southern European houses. They’re bright and sometimes too bright but it gives me an immediate holiday feeling. Your last image is really superb!
I, too, love the white S. European houses. I so miss the joyfulness of traveling… So glad you like the last image. 🙂
Miss traveling too…
Amy, your last photo is phenomenal. It is a classic. I so adore your entire post this week. 😀
Thank you, Cee for the encouraging feedback! It’s a great theme series! 🙂
thanks for sharing. We lived in Greece in a white washed house that was relatively cool. But often we had to close our eyes looking at it because of the reflection. It was like in India when we visited the Tatch Mahal.
Our Master wrote a book about the colour white and did a TV-film about white for the German television.
Have a happy weekend

I don’t know how they manage to paint such tall walls, but the effect is great. 🙂
Thank you for visiting, Scifi. Yes, extraordinary effort to paint these tall buildings.

Beautiful! The cool, whitewashed Mediterranean. Greece too.

Take a lot of film… errr… SD cards!!!
Hi John, That was a dsaster. Apologize. I scheduled the getting away post before I completed it. 😦
