Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #140 – A Change of Scenery

This week, Beth (Wandering Dawgs), our guest host, leads the “A Change of Scenery” theme. Beth encourages us to get out and look for a change of scenery.

“Spring adds new life and new beauty to all that is.”  ~ Jessica Harrelson

Beth is right, we don’t have to go far to enjoy a change of scenery. Spring is official here. It is pleasant to see trees turning into green while taking a morning walk.

“Springtime is the land awakening. The March winds are the morning yawn.”

~ Lewis Grizzard

We are still trimming and chopping dead branches and bushes from the last brutal snow storm. Likely, we will need to replant some of the plants.

Images below are from my archives. I haven’t seen these beautiful creatures for a while. Hope to see them soon.

Beth suggests trying a different route on your walk, run, or bike ride of our local park. She also extends other opportunities for us, e.g. browsing our archives “to feature images from places we have visited in the past when you needed a change of scenery.” Click here to visit Beth beautiful “A Change of Scenery” of a small town on the Gulf Coast of Florida. We hope you will join us. In your post, please include a link to her original post and use the Lens-Artists tag so everyone can find your post in the WordPress reader.

Patti will host LAPC #141 next week. Be sure to visit her site.

  2. Amy, your photos have a dreamy quality. It’s hard to believe you ever had snow in a place like that. I’m glad you could get everything cleared up. It’s gorgeous. Have a great week. 🙂
