Lens Artists Challenge #135: A Glimpse into your world

This week, Sheetal, our guest host, invistes us to join ‘A Glimpse into your world’; ” Show us the things you love that makes your world spin or things about your world that make you delirious with joy.”

For this theme, I choose to take a glimpse into the Aransa National Wildlife Refuge. This wildlif reguge is a 115,324 acre protected area situated along the Gulf Coast of Texas.

It has a long history, was established  on 31 December 1937 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

This is where you can enjoy sun rising and watching various birds, especially the endangered the whooping crane.

“The environment is where we all meet, where we all have a mutual interest; it is the one thing all of us share. It is not only a mirror of ourselves, but a focusing lens on what we can become.”

— Lady Bird Johnson, Speech at Yale University, 1967.
