Lens-Artists Challenge #128 – And Here Comes the Holiday Season…
This week, Ann-Christine hosts “And Here Comes the Holiday Season…”. “This last LAPC challenge, of the strange year 2020, is all about your Holiday Season.”
For this theme, I’d like to share some of my fun Christmas decorations with you.
This year is very different, it’s specially difficult for kids to adjust. I hope Santa will bring wonderful surprises to many, many children.
Over the years, I have collected various Christmas ornaments and decorations. They are from different parts of the world, and each holds a saweet memory.
My English Village collection started small.
Now, it is more like a village:
Austin Trail of lights, a few years ago:
Patti (P.A. Moed) reminds us, “Instead of thinking about the negatives in a time of so much darkness–political strife, illness, natural disasters, and wars–I’m focusing on the glimmers of light, of hope. Here’s an example. For the first time in recorded history, many brilliant minds have tackled the problem of finding a vaccine to stop the spread of the covid virus. They succeeded in record timeCan you imagine what would happen if we faced other global problems the same way? ” Thank you, Patti for your insights. Read more click here.
Many thanks for sharing your precious moments with us last week. I so enjoyed reading your sweet memories and viewing your precious and beautiful photos. They will stay with me for a long while.
Ann-Christine invites us to share our holidays. She encourages us to think about “what will your holidays look like? What are your plans and/or memories?…” Please include a link to Ann-Christine’s post and use the Lens-Artists tag so that everyone can find your post in the WP Reader.
We hope you will join this last LPAC theme of 2020. The Lens-artists team will be enjoying a holiday next week and will return on Saturday, January 2. Tina will host and the challenge will be “Favorite Photos of 2020”.
Until then, wishing everyone a joyful holiday season and a Happy New Year.
