Friendly Friday: In Transit

Sandy (The Sandy Chronicles) invites us to share  photos showing “something or someone in-transit, moving from one state to another.” Here is my entry:

The image below was captured on our way to the Dallas International Airport. Every few minutes, you can see an airplane above as all automobiles are moving toward the airport.

Needless to say, the subway station in NYC is always busy.

“Major changes feel imminent in the world and our current status seems in-transit to a new normal.” so true. Sandy is a remarkable photographer, take a look. The Friendly Friday theme runs between Friday to Thursday. This is my first time joining in this challenge.

This theme reminded me a movie I saw a few weeks ago, “Take Me Home”. Soon after Thom starts operating as an illegal taxi driver in New York City, Claire hires him to drive her to California after her estranged father suffers a heart attack.

  1. I do like the feel of motion, Amy. Every time I see an airplane now, I give a silent cheer, as I want them to keep on flying, even though I’m not ready to spend all that time at an airport and then on a plane while wearing a masks and disinfecting like mad. 🙂 I do enjoy a car trip, though!

  2. It may be you first time with Friendly Friday but we see each other all the time!

I like your subway photos. I have a particular preference for subway shots, there’s so much potential in terms of motion, lights and people. They can say so much about a city and urban life.

Thanks for joining the challenge & I hope to see you again – Sandy
