Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #96: Cropping the Shot

This week, Patti invites us to explore a photo editing technique and the benefits of cropping the shot.

Cropping was the first series that I learned from my online basic photography lesson. It got easier when I started using Adobe Lightroom. Through cropping process, we can focus on the subject, frame the photos, and change the aspect ratio.

Cropping enables us to remove unwanted outer areas from a photo.

After removing the unwanted branches, I get a closer look of the Bald Eagle.

Cropping an image can be fun.  🙂

Patti has some cool shots for her “cropping an image” theme. Click here and take a look. We are looking forward to seeing your cropping technique, before and after. If you join us, please make a link to Patti’s post and tag your post.

We’re delighted to announce that Sue of Mac’s Girl will be our special guest host for Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #97 on Saturday, May 16th.  Please be sure to stop by her site and join the fun. We’ll return to our regular schedule for LAPC #98, Ann-Christine will host on May 23rd.
