“Do not be angry with the rain; it simply does not know how to fall upwards.” ― Vladimir Nabokov
September, 2019, we made a trip to Croatia and Slovenia. One of the highlights of this trip was the picturesque Lake Bled in Slovenia, we were all so looking forward to it. It rained the day we arrived, throughout the night, and the next morning. Somehow, we manged to visit the oldest medieval Bled Castle, took a boat tour along the lake, and went to the top of the cliff above the lake.
Some People Feel the Rain. Others Just Get Wet. — Roger Miller
“Rain is grace; rain is the sky condescending to the earth; without rain, there would be no life.”
The Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia features a string of 16 turquoise lakes linked by 92 waterfalls and cascades, surrounded by densely wooded mountains and lush vegetation. It was a perfect day for the lake tour. Walking on the narrow path through waterfalls and lakes, in some areas you felt like you were walking in the rain; it was easy to get wet.
This little guy didn’t mind to get wet. 🙂
