Lens Artists Photo Challenge #79: A Window With A View

Our Lens Artists Photo Challenge for this week is “A Window With A View”.

Miho Museum, Japan (Designed by I.M. Pei). The large window panels in the lounge give a stunning view of the mountains, sky, and pine trees. To save trees, Mr. Pei replanted 7,000 trees after finishing this architectural project.

A window with a view from outside of the Glasshouse. The Glasshouse is the centerpiece of Chihuly Garden and Glass, 40-foot tall, glass and steel structure covering 4,500 square feet of light-filled space. It is the result of Chihuly’s lifelong appreciation for conservatories.

There was a line of arched windows on the second floors of the Castle of the Rockies, Banff National Park, Canada facing the Rockies. A perfect place to enjoy the mountain view through these windows.The image below was captured in the early morning.

Car windows are like mobile windows. When the car is on the road, the scenery changes every few seconds. It is always challenging to capture a beautiful scene from the passenger side. It seems I’m always half a second late, but I keep trying. 🙂

Clicking on the freeway is even more challenging. Surprisingly, iPhone 11 did capture this scene I wanted.

Mama Woodpecker stuck her head out from her nest window. She was waiting for Papa to come home to feed their hungry babies.
