Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #74: Abstract

This week Patti challenges us “to break the rules and go beyond the traditional realistic image of an object, scene, or element and go “Abstract”.

The view of the earth from some 30,000 feet above is always fascinating, mountains, river, and seas are transformed into a unique abstract image.

You can intentionally move your camera while shooting a stable source of light with slow shutter speed to create an abstract image, like this one:

There are many cool ways to create abstract effects. I often utilize various filters to create a painting- like or an abstract image:

Thanks to Patti’s inspiring theme. I love how she leads us to go beyond the traditional realistic image of an object, scene, or element. You don’t want to miss it.

Patti, Tina, Ann-Christine, and I are looking forwarding to your “go abstract”. In your post, include a link to https://pilotfishblog.com/2019/11/30/lens-artists-photo-challenge-74-abstract/ (Links from the Reader are not working correctly.) Use the Lens-Artists tag to help us find you.

Because Ann-Christine is traveling, Tina will host next week’s challenge #75 at Travels and Trifles.
