Cee’s FFC: Gardens

Japanese Rock Gardens for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge.

Rocks symbolize islands in Japanese gardens. Thus, bridges in gardens are used to connect these “islands”, allowing visitors to walk from “island” to “island” and get different views of the garden.

Thank you, Cee for this fun theme.

  1. I love Japanese gardens! There is no way to see these photos and not feel the serenity and peace. In a week that has had lots of stress, I feel myself breathing lighter just seeing these gorgeous scenes, Amy. Thank you!

  2. I fell in love with Japanese gardens as a child, and have created one for a public space for a time – I also love how they created dry rivers with islands when water was not available. So creative.
