Surfing: An Amazing Sport

Surfing on a breaking wave is an unusual sport. There are more than 29 million surfers worldwide.

These photos were taken in Southern California in 2017. Excuse me for re-posting these surfing photos. I think my new followers would enjoy these fun, action shots.

According to Surfer Today, The sport of surfing began between the 19th and 20th centuries, but wave riding is an old practice that has its origins in the ancient Polynesian and ancient Peruvian cultures.

Surfing opened my eyes to the world, and it made me a more tolerant person.
