Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #49: Favorite Things (6/9/2019)

This week Patti offers us a wonderful opportunity to highlight our favorite things: the people, places, activity, or things that we love.

“Love what you do and do what you love.” ~ Ray Bradbury

If you have followed me for a while, you probably have sensed that traveling, enjoying nature, and reading are my favorite things. A few years ago, when I bought my first DSLR camera, I began a journey toΒ a new level of photography I’d say my favorite things remain the same, but the ways I enjoy them have been changed since.

My birding trip in Northern Ohio was just that, traveling, photographing, and being surrounded by nature.

A picturesque scene of a misty and quiet morning of a local lake. The photo below was processed into a painting-like photo through Topaz Studio. This studio gives me some satisfaction of being creative.

Dancing on water. It was such a thrill when I captured the graceful movements of a GBH which takes practices, patience, and some luck. To capture a a dancing Egret, I depend on a lot of luck.

The beauty of nature is always there for us to enjoy.

Breathtaking sunset scene at the Lake Erie, Ohio. Watching the dramatic color changes in the sky of the sunset is always an unforgettable experience, one of my favorite things. The result of the photographic is always a pleasant surprise.

Patti hosts this week’s photo challenge. Visit her favorite things by clicking here. Hope you’ll join us and share your favorite things. Stay tuned for Ann-Christine’s LAPC next week.

I’m taking a break, and I will be back in mid-June.

Thank you so much for your visit!
