Nara Park and Deer
Nara Park was established in 1880, one of the oldest parks in Japan. is about 1,240 acres.
The park is home to hundreds of freely roaming deer.
They are everywhere in the park and like to social with people.
“Are you bringing any food?”
They do expect visitors to bring deer crackers. You can get a small bag of crackers from the vendor for $1.35.
Not everyone is comfortable being so close to a deer.
The fawns are happy to be with their moms.
Some deer enjoy people watching.
Time to take a nap.
It takes a lot of effort to keep the park clean as you can imagine.
