2017 Summer Wrap Up

Summer went by fast. I’m posting a few photos to recap 2017 summer.

It’s always fun to watch surfing in Southern California, more so to capture actions in photos.

While in Texas, during the weekend, I find time to drive through a winding road to the ranch watching horses.

There, you can enjoy fresh air, beautiful scenes, and peacefulness.

Hope your had an enjoyable summer. πŸ™‚

      • Aahh…I see the paparazzi fellas with ultra long zoom lenses…gee those camera equipment must weigh a ton. Yours is good enough by my standards (which is actually very little knowledge of lenses haha!) as the photos turn out magnificent! πŸ™‚

  1. Beautiful images, Amy. The first one is a gem. Bye summer, welcome autumn.
Our thoughts go to our dear friends in Texas and Florida theses days. From a safe distance in North Norfolk, thoughts and best wishes will be with all those in the path of Irma over the next few days. πŸ™πŸ»

  2. Nice recap Amy. I know exactly how it feels as the summer comes to an end in that part of the world. But then there is a totally different season with superb photo opportunity with snow. I always feel bad that I did not take advantage of winter season for photography.. Now that I have moved to a place where there is only one season ..that is summer.. ofcourse there is plenty of rain to console me.

  3. Great photos, Amy. I have never shot surfing photos before. Is it difficult?
I don’t think we had a summer this year ;-( I am not complaining. Spring and fall are all I need… I think. Ha.
    Have a wonderful evening.

    • Thank you, Helen. It may be easier if I know how to set the shutter speed correctly and use a long lens. I set between 250 to 800 sec. I hope Mr. Raj will teach us how to take action shots later. πŸ™‚
