Cee’s B&W:Signs

These two signs were captured at a Japanese market.

The first one means Japanese noodles (Udon); these brush strokes curve nicely and kinda like noodles. The second one is to remember the 2011 Japan earthquake. As you can tell, the style of the calligraphy is quite different from the first one. The strong brush strokes of each character seem to expressΒ sadness of this catastrophe.

For Cee’s B&W Challenge: Signs

Sally’s Mobile Photo Challenge is ended. I have enjoyed iPhone photographing and learned various apps from this weekly challenge. Thank you, Sally! She is launching into a new, exciting project. Take a look!
