One Word Photo Challenge: Frame

I’m choosing window frames and a nature sand stone frame for this week’s OWPC theme.

Santa Fe has a very unique Spanish Pueblo architectural styles, earth-colored buildings made of adobe bricks, which consist of a mixture of sun-dried earth and straw. They only install a few windows to retain heat during the winter and maintain cool temperature during the summer.

This colorful window below was captured in one of the restaurants:

The Rainbow Bridge can be viewed as a magnificent nature frame and rocks round the bridge looks as if another layer of frame for this awesome scenery. It’s located in San Juan County, Utah, 275 feet (84 m) across and 290 feet high (88 m), at the top it is 42 feet (13 m) thick and 33 feet (10 m) wide. The base is composed of Kayenta Sandstone, reddish-brown sands and muds laid down by inland seas and shifting winds over 200 million years ago.
