Beautiful shots, Amy!
Thank you, Hien! Much easier to photo DOF than BIF! 😊
Your photos show much talent and depth of though…
Thank you for visiting and taking time to comment, Tom!
I like these – particularly the last one.
The last on is my favorite. Thank you, Suzanne! 🙂

Lovely shots Amy! 🙂
DOF is easier to capture than birds. 🙂
Yup, you need a good, fast lens for birds. A friend of mine sits in the wetlands near his home almost every morning with a 300 mm f/4 to capture some really lovely shots. 🙂
I was using 300 mm. I think out in field is not as challenging as in the backyard that covered with tree branches and leave.
Ah! That too is true. Too many background distractions to focus out 🙂
That last floral photo was amazing in its subtle colors. Loved it, Amy. ❤
These are great photos, Amy. The stamen, particularly, looks amazing.
Thank you so much, Robbie! I was surprised with the stamen capture. 🙂
Amy, your photos are amazing! Really special!
Thank you, Debra! Happy to share these images with you. 🙂
They are very nice, I think that third one is my favorite.
I like the third one too. It’s no more than one inch diameter. 🙂
I have not considered taking a picture of a spent blossom. It is a different story to tell. Well done, Amy.
It has a different…
Thank you, Patrick for visiting. This spent blossom is kind of unusual in the form and size (as tiny as one inch).
These are all beautiful. They’ve got me raring to go out again with macro. 😊 f2.8 here I come !
Thank you, Helen! The macro has extended another dimension of photographing for me. 🙂
So glad you like it.
getting to down to the almost microscopic with that 1st shot Amy and yet still so focused! Lovely selection of DOFs
Thank you for liking these images. Happy to see you, Laura!
