Against all odds, drought, soil condition, unpredictable weather… at the Tent Rocks, these trees not only have survived but are standing tall.
Here, a trunk of a tree grows down to the ground then up (below); the survivability of nature is amazing.
This dying tree is leaning on another tree.
Lean on me when you’re not strong
I’ll be your friend, I’ll help you carry on
For it won’t be long
