Cee’s Fun Fhoto Challenge: All About City

For Cee’s FFC City, we’ll take a tour of the famous Riverwalk in Downtown San Antonio.

As you descend from the city streets down to the Riverwalk, you are into another place. There is an array of restaurants by the river.

After dinner, you can enjoy the Riverwalk by taking a boat taxi or

a horse carriage ride touring through the downtown of San Antonio where you will see the Alamo and the historic architecture.

For this trip, I used iPhone 6

    • Have you, Sue! Is there a place you haven’t been? This place continues to change and improve. Three, four years ago, they completed 8-mile expansion, now they are planning for another big new project. 🙂

  1. It’s wonderful when rivers run through cities, they give so much life.Lovely riverwalk Amy,and nice restaurants so close to water. The fancy horse carriage adds so much to the city 🙂 xxx

    • They turned it into a fun river walk due to serious floor many decades ago, and the idea was not popular. 🙂 Now, it’s the number 1 tourist place in Texas. So glad you like it, dear Doda! 🙂 xxx

  2. I was always wondering when you are going to post a series of photos of the Riverwalk! I had good memories of that place because that it was where I took my first few shots when I bought my first digital camera back in 1999 or 2000 🙂 Unfortunately I don’t know where are those digital files now, lol. Thanks for the memories, Amy.

    • I did a few RW posts a couple of years ago. It’s so different from other cities, is a place you visit once you don’t forget. So glad to hear you have been there. 🙂
