Mobile Photo and Weekly Photo Challenge: Optimistic

Submitting to Sally’s Mobile Photo Challenge: Toward The Light.

I walked behind these two young ladies for a little while. I kept a distance when we were walking through the underpass. As soon as they were just about to step into the sunny side, I quickly snapped the moment with my iPhone. Luckily no one person was in between these two ladies and me.

While walking slowly into the water, the egret is watching these two fishermen carefully; one of fishermen watching the fishing boat and the other is focusing on fishing. A little further, guys on the boat are watching both egret and the fishermen. They all want to be the first one catching fish. Optimistic 🙂

  2. Amy, you definitely brought a smile to my day. I might even like the first one cropped to show a closer view of the egret and fishermen. The monochrome leads me into the unknown casually and with few cares, which is a good thing. Happy Photo Challenge.

    • Thank you so much for your feedback. I was pleased with the capture of iPhone. I wonder if my canon could do any better. 🙂 Thank you for visiting, Janet!

  4. Don’t you just wonder… what the girls are talking about. Neat how the sunlight added clarity!
Funny story… the egret reminded me of it.
When my son was 4 years old he was fishing off a pier in Florida. He was waiting very patiently… then he caught one. As he slowly reeled it up out of the water… a pelican came flying down and grabbed his fish right off the line. My little boy looked at me and said… guess we don’t have to take it off the line. No tears… just quick wit. And he still has it today! Thank You for the memory. Hope the Egret behaved himself.
