AB Friday (Flower and Bee)

flower-bee ABF 12-11

I first did the basic adjustment through the Lightroom, then used the adjustment brush to de-saturate the color of the flower petals, and reduced the noise to 100. Thanks go to Ben who taught me how to save part of the colors of a photo using the brush. 🙂

  1. I really like your before/after today, Amy — the adjustment highlighted the dazzling green bug so well. Also really enjoyed the dewy berries and the reflections in the dew. Have fun! 😀

  2. Great your theme for the before & after challenge, dear Amy!A marvellous double macro displaying the sublime relationship between flowers and insects! But the after b/w version with the selective colour is totally stunning! There is a celestial lighting all over directing the viewer into the heart of the flower and the busy green worker!Great work my friend! Can’t go away though without praising the beauty of the b/w composite!Striking capture, wonderful light and soft grey tonalities! The huge clouds of the droplets are so magically reflective!Thank you for inspiring us,for showing us that photography is Art 🙂 ❤ xxx
