Yes, a sad time when the flowers disappear! But, we have so much more in this world to be thankful for, the next season will bring its own beauty. The images are spectacular.
Thank you so much for the reminder, Laurie!
Nos 2 and 4 are simply breathtaking….That second one is a poem waiting to be written…..

Those are flowers of a different kind though.
They are different, perhaps they say a little bit about my mood…

Lovely, lovely images, Amy. They have a “nostalgia” feel–as if you’re still longing for summer!

Beautiful images Amy and i wondered if there was some symbolism to the images of these sad days. Perhaps just how I was feeling.
I feel the same… Sue.
Beautiful close-ups, Amy. What’s left of the flowers look so soft and delicate. Looks like the petals have flown away with the autumnal winds. Hope you are doing well and the weather is treating you well 🙂
Thank you, Mabel. We are in 70s during daytime, and getting some rain. 🙂 Flowers are all gone… but, these weeds are showing their beauty. 🙂

Wow, it looks like the spider has deliberately harnessed the grass to make an extra powerful prison!
Ya, an extra powerful prison! It must be many, many hours of work for the spider. 🙂
Love the delicate intricacy of your photo series, really special.
So glad you think they are special, Chalie! These weeds can easily be overlooked. 🙂
