Mundane Monday Challenge #20 (Colorful Pens)
This week’s entry is inspired by Trablogger’s Some Tips and Tricks to Better Photography.
Though I bought Canon 50 mm lens a year ago, I had used it only once. After reading Trablogger’s tips… I thought I’d give it another try. I practiced on shooting these colored pencils (borrowed the idea from two of Trablogger’s MMC photos) from different angles with various arrangements of these colored pencils and different aperture settings. After clicking nearly 60 times, my patience had been tested. For these two photos, I did cropping, but no retouching.
Had it not been Jithin, this lens would still be sitting in the closet. Thank you so much, Jithin for your encouragement and instructions of using this cool lens! Finding beauty in mundane things has been a fun challenge, but using 50 mm was noticeably challenging. 🙂
