Enjoy the sunshine, Amy. Some parts here are drowning in rain. We haven’t had too much yet. Just the right amount. Well, maybe the Hill Country could even do with more. And the chances are there. Rain is in the forecast for the next 10 days at least. I really don’t mind, seeing how wonderfully green everything has become.
Have a grea time and a safe trip,
I’m just grateful for the rain this year. The Colorado River in AZ is at the record low, due to the fact thst the Rockies was not getting thenormal snow last winter. Worrisome…
The Colorado and the reservoirs there are really worrisome. As is the situation in CA.
Enjoy your trip all the same, though,
Love that landscape!
Stunning… Say the least… Thank you, LuAnn! 🙂
Wow, Amy, this is stunning!
Thank you, Lulu! Happy travel. 🙂
A truly beautiful place that is always changing.
Fanscinting! The rain, water, wind…constantly change the landscape. Thank you for your comment, Patrick!
Beautiful! Last time we were in the area, it was so cold, windy, and cloudy that we took a pass on the visiting the canyons. It’s still on my list though. Thanks for the reminder 🙂
We were there yesterday taking the upper part at around 7 am, it was at around high 40s, it was cold. When we took the lower part tour the day before it rained hard right after the tour. They had to close it the rest of the day.
Sounds like you lucked out with your timing. It’s been cold and rainy in Grand Junction CO 😦 But better today 🙂
Magical scene Amy – beautiful capture of light and shadows, really shows of the fluid formations.

No worries, Amy. It’s hard when you’re in transit, and you try to save time by going online. 🙂 I’m hopeless on my mobile.
