  1. Great pictures of favourite things. I often get confused if they are from iPhone or your proper camera. Because you make great pictures with both. My guess is first two camera, chocolate iPhone. Is it?!

  2. Chocolate, flowers, and birds – yep, all favorites. I see you just answered my question to Sue – 1/2000. I’ve been using 1/1000 – 1/1300 but cranes don’t fly as fast as ducks. What camera do you use? Oh, and all are beautiful photos 🙂

  3. Speechless. The flying bird is good and I love the shot. The chocolate is good too, but I will not compliment you for that because the pastry chef deserves the credit instead 😀

    • Awww, the master is speechless. I like how the bird round his/her wings around, which is kind of unusual capture. I snapped three continuous actions shots of this bird. 🙂 I agree, these are handcrafted pastries! 🙂 Thank you, Jeremy!

  4. Wonderful capture of the bird flying across the water. Great timing, and such clarity in that shot. You must have got the shutter speed and the other settings all right at that moment. Now I want some chocolate too! I hope you managed to get a slice of sweet pastry there ^^’

    • Great pastry! I always avoid sweet, but I eat the whole pastry when I was there… I was so happy I captured the bird; if I had to, I’d won’t mind to trade my chocolate pastry. 😀

  5. So sweet a post dear Amy!
Striking the first in action photo with the duck on the wing, charming the wild flowers and a lovely display of sweets!
I love your favourite things,I’m with you my lovely friend 🙂 ❤

  6. Amy, you didn’t have a separate post on your ABFriday submission, so I came here to leave my (additional) comments on your bird in flight photo 🙂 You did a great job on removing the branch – I had to look twice at your before photo to even see that it was there! You took simple but effective steps in LR, including the crop, all which created a much stronger after image of this beautiful bird. Thanks so much for once again participating. It’s always fun to have you aboard!

    • Hi Stacy, Thank you for giving the feedback, I need it. Putting my humble work along with yours, Ben’s, and Emilio’s takes some courage. 🙂 I should give a description of the branch I mentioned.
BTW, the One Focus is an interesting photo to work on. Do I just copy it from your post? I tried to copy it, but the copy was in a small version, after I cropped it, the photo was even smaller. 🙂

  8. Well, I just gained 10 pounds admired that last photo, Amy. Yum…yum, and YUM! Love that duck flying over the water (I’d have pinned him if you had a Pinterest button available), The detail in your flower came out beautifully, too!. 🙂
