Beautiful landscape and fantastic shadows Amy
Thank you for your comment, Anna! Appreciate your support, as always! Have a great week. 🙂
Great post for the challenge, Amy! Loved it!
Thank you, Cathy! I took these two pics at the Dallas Garden in late November, a beautiful sunny and warm day. It is at 35F this morning. 🙂
Shadows are some of nature’s most charming characters. Lovely capture.
I’m learning about the shadows from wpc. Thank you for liking these pics, Sally!
Never thought of it that way. And we can move those hills if we have the faith of a mustard seed!
Yeah and choose to be happy–you weekly theme. I really enjoy reading this series. Thank you, Patrick!

I agree, also, it’s more relaxing than sitting in front of the computer. 🙂 Thank you for sharing your thoughts. 🙂
Thank you, Rexlin! So glad to see you. 🙂
Gorgeous captures as always Amy. I want to have a rest on those beautiful hills and take it all in.
It was a perfect day to be out there though it was already in late November, down to 35F this morning, cold for Texans. 🙂 Thank you, Sue!
Definitely sounds chilly for you!
Wonderful – excellent captured… 🙂
Thank you, Drake! They were very relaxing. 🙂

Thank you, Kathryn! I miss the sunny, warm, and relaxing day.
Thank you, Tree! 🙂
Beautiful warm colors. I’ve always found color so challenging. I haven’t shot B&W in years!
Photos like this and flowers probably look better in colors. Thank you, Maria!
This could be a painting, the way the photograph and you, the artist, captured the shades and shadows. Wonderful, Amy!
Thank you so much! I love, love your thought for a painting 🙂
Quite inviting, Amy. I also wonder what book he was reading 😉 Helen
Now, you are making me wonder, Helen! The young boy and the guy were on each side of the slop enjoying the lovely afternoon. 🙂
I love both images, Amy.
Thank you, Isabel! Both had their way of enjoying the nice day. 🙂
I love the one with the little boy. He looks peaceful. Nice captures, Amy. 😎
Watching him enjoying the peacefulness made me smile. I’m glad I captured the moment. 🙂 Thank you for visiting, Isadora!
Beautiful captures of shadow lands
Thank you for visiting! Glad you like the captures. 🙂
nice pair of pics – they flow so well and the path in the second one is nice – but my fav of the two is the first – the two red trees seem to have this line that directly works in the path of the boy – and you give us shadowed – yet so much more…
I appreciate so much you taking time to view these two. Thank yuo for letting me know why you like the photo, and noticing the lines, path, and trees. 🙂
oh my pleasure – and thanks for chitchatting with me on my blog – enjoyed it tonight – I am sorting old photos for some neighbors and so it has been fun to go back into the blog and see the little star for new comments…
Hugs ❤ See ya 🙂
The photos and quote go so well with the photos, Amy. Very meaningful and deep. I hope it’s great where you are and that you are enjoying your weekend 🙂
So glad I could share it with you. I have used his quotes a couple of other times. I did a small book review of the Room With A View sometime ago: https://shareandconnect.wordpress.com/2013/11/07/thursday-special-buongiorno/
Thank you so much for your encouraging words, Mabel! 🙂
A room with a view, indeed! And what a wonderful view it is. 🙂
Thank you, Orples! 🙂
Great to relax there in the shadows!
Thank you for liking it, Aletta!
Those photos are simply yummy – there’s no other word. Make me want to crawl in and live there!
Thank you so much for letting me know you like the photos. These were taken at the Dallas Garden. 🙂
so inviting to lie in the shadows. Beautiful Amy!
Glad you like these two. You master shadow shots. 🙂
aww thank you for that!!
I love the locations you chose for your photos, they look so comfortable. The dappled light and shadows just makes you want to spread the blanket out on the lawn and take a nape or read a book.
These two were taken at the Dallas Garden last November, when it was sunny and warm. Thank you for visiting, Charlie!
beautiful photos, Amy! what a beautiful and relaxing place to be 🙂
This is the Dallas Garden. It was during the last fall, still sunny and warm during that time. Thanks, Lola! 🙂
What a beautiful place Amy ..Truly a good place to relax .
Extraordinary expansive views over the hilly landscapes dear Amy ! Both are equally beautiful and rich in shadows !
