Thank you, Aletta! 🙂
They are so delicate!
Thank you for liking it, JF 🙂
So elegant and fine !!! Marvellous photos in mono, superb textures and lighting conditions ! The blurred shadows in the backdrop make them most exquisite ! Have a brilliant day dear Amy 🙂 ~♥~♥~♥~
Thank you so much, Doda! I think the b&w version really captured the textures and lighting. I appreciate you taking time to view them so carefully. 🙂 ❤ ❤ ❤

Very ethereal, Amy. I like how each one is a feather, and yet they are each so different, so delicate. 🙂
Thank you, Jet. The b&w version made a difference. 🙂
Stunning black and whites Amy. I can see where you find those feathers beautiful.
Glad you noticed where the feather landed 🙂 Thanks for hosting the challenge, Cee!
Love your b&w images Amy but that header photo…spectacular! 🙂
Thank you, LuAnn! I just began to use the rotating header feature, you may get to see different head each time. 🙂
Good morning, Amy. Impressive B&W photos. I think B&W meant to look like these! 😉 Helen
I agree. The b&w looks completely different from the colored version. Thank you, Helen. 🙂
I like the b&w version a lot better. Thanks, Cindy!
I just love your black and white images. Gorgeous. 😀
Happy to know you like these images, Raewyn! Thank you! 🙂
They are stunning. Lovely. Beautiful…
I appreciate your compliment, Pike!
Thank you for your compliment! 🙂
Beautiful Amy! Do you shoot in black and white or process the photos from color? These are fabulous.
I changed it to b&w which is only one click. I used the macro lens to capture the feather.
Thank you for you comment, Nicole!
Simple beauty – perfect. 🙂
So cool to get approval from Dragon. 🙂 Thank you! Enjoy the weekend.
well like your other readers – I also like the B & W choice – and that second photo has a composition that is just cool – all front and in the frame like that – with a longer strand to the left and a strand to the upper right – giving it this informal balance – and showing your eye for stuff like that – and the softness you captured is still with me – the three of these together are beautiful – and how cool for highlighting beauty – just don;t see feathers too much and loved these – ❤
Thank you so much, Y! From a distance, I thought the feather was a white flower. I took a couple of shots as it was, didn’t even touch it. This is my first feather capture ever! So glad I could share it with you, Y. ❤
I always enjoy your B&W and Monochrome.
Love to have your company, seeker! Enjoy the weekend. 🙂
Absolutely wonderful, Amy!
Thank you so much, Lisa! 🙂
Brilliant photos, and brilliant quote to go along with them. Such clarity in your shots again, they never fail to amaze me. I would like to think the feathers are soft to the touch. Well done 🙂 Beauty is fragile. It changes all the time.
So glad you like it, Mabel. The feather looked like a white flower from a distance. It was a small feather. I have never seen or snapped a real feather in a trail. So this shot is special. 🙂
You had me fooled, Amy. I thought it was fairly huge, not small, no way 🙂 Keep on experimenting with your photos. Hope your weekend’s going great. It’s almost Sunday here. Too fast.
A little more than 2 inches. I used macro lens, then I cropped it. I was real happy with the clarity. 🙂
Sunday for you already?
That is small indeed :O Good editing skills. I hope someday I will be as skilled as you. Meantime, just too busy with work and writing to set aside time for photography. About half an hour to Sunday now. Yes, it’s late 🙂
Almost midnight for you?
Correct. I am mentally most alert at this time of the day. Lots of writing and emails to catch up on this weekend. But I will sleep soon, I know it 🙂
I hope you are going to enjoy your Saturday!
Ethereal and perfect Amy. Happy weekend to you, Aquileana ;D
Thank you, Aquileana! Happy to see you. 🙂
Einen schönen Tag schön die Federn Grüße und wünsche ein gutes Wochenende liebe Grüße Gislinde
a good weekend greetings Gislinde für dich 🙂 Danke, Gisel!
Gorgeous captures Amy. You are doing brilliant work with these series of feathery images.
So glad you are back, Sue! Now you need time to sort your fabulous travel photos, can’t hardly wait! 🙂
Thank you for finding time to visit!
You are most welcome Amy. Yes the sorting seems a bit daunting at the moment. 🙂
I see this & think ANGELS 🙂
Thank you so much! Happy to see you, RoSy 🙂 I missed seeing you for a while. I guess you have been busy 😕
Busy is putting it lightly. 😉
It’s all good though.
I agree, RoSy 🙂
the detail is wonderful!! I want to fly!!
Thank you, Cybele! 🙂
