Alpe de Siusi

village street

We arrived at village of Siusi in the early morning to explore Alpe de Siusi…

While walking uphill to Alpe, we passed a couple of charming towns and saw local people were getting ready for their festival parade:

  3. I enjoyed your photos, Amy, for the festivities (I love to see adults wearing costumes in public) as well as the spirit of the town. The Alps in the background are stunning.

  4. Masterful photo series,dear Amy ! They are all captured and framed so efficiently ;
    I love those quaint and remote villages where the pace of life is slow.The local colour you caught and the folk costumes are totally fascinating !!!
    Love and ((( hugs ))) 🙂

    PS : I think our good friend Jackie shed some light on my comment-problem which still exists on most blogs 😦

    • I love these folk costumes too, Doda! I’m so glad I can share the fun with you 🙂
      Sorry to hear you are still dealing with the frustrations!

    • Thank you for asking about the parade 🙂 After we were back from hiking, they were just started their parade. It wasn’t a long one, but was fabulous! We had fun watching the Italian flag throwing 🙂 The place was so jam-packed with people, it was impossible to take a good photo…

  5. Popped in just to say hi and tell you that my comment-problem has gone at the moment 🙂
    Looking forward to your new post ♡ (◠‿◠✿) ♡ (◠‿◠✿), (((hugs)))
