The above two statues are located in Vail, Colorado. The second one is in memory of the good times a brother and a little sister had in their childhood.

A status at the Stockyards in Fort Worth, Texas shows a cowboy was wrestling with a longhorn; both were losing control. The famous daily Parade of Horns is just a few steps away from this statue.

Her expression and the way she holds her baby symbolize mother’s endless love. The statue is located in Fredericksburg, Texas.

    • Your comment made me to take another look the photo. It looks like the artist intentionally made the body mother statue bigger than she was to show the protective part of her; yet, she has such a gentle face… So glad I can share it with you, Isadora!

  1. Very very nice collection of statues. I think US needs more statues or random public arts scattered in parks and along sidewalks just like most European or other countries do.

    • You’re right, statues and public arts are part of the parks, bridges and sidewalks in Europe. Thank you for your comment, Rommel! Hope you had a nice weekend.
