WPC: Masterpiece

The Hanging Temple was built halfway up to a sheer cliff face:

It’s over 1,500 years old (in 490 AD), located in Datong City, Shanxi Province in China.
75 m or 246 ft above the ground.
The Temple was built for the Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism.
The architecture was based on the wood frame structure.
The Temple has 40 halls and cabinets, which contain 80 sculptures made of copper, iron, terracotta, and stone.

It’s mind-boggling to think of how these people in 490 AD used the ancient tools and climb up to the cliff to build this amazing Hanging Temple.
