WPC: Lost in the Details

Pergamon Museum in Berlin has remarkable collections of ancient Greek, Roman, and early Islāmic treasures.

  1. Beautiful details. I just love Roman mosaics….in many ways they are so contemporary, but we couldn’t afford to have this laid now. Thanks for sharing :-)

You’re right, we couldn’t afford to laid hundreds of thousand miniscule pebbles like they did. Thank you so much for visiting and commenting!

  2. The details in the fabric, indeed! I’m amazed on how people do this thing. Your mind gotta be very oriented, keen, and attentive when you make these. I’d probably get lost and start making my own random images and not stay on the pattern. :D

I agree only certain people can do it and get it done right. These kind of repetitive works are not for creative people :D

History is awesome in what it demonstrates of our past. the title could also be Lost in Detail that is getting lost in our current society, I hope not though. Excellent post!
