Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Water
Cee’s FF challenge for this week is water.
The Niagara Falls need no introduction…
“You will be taking a shower…” the tour guide warned us before we got on the boat. It was so misty that we really couldn’t see much on the boat.
Our tour guide showed us where the Niagara Falls started generating its power:

Finally you posted photos of somewhere I’ve actually been to. LOL. George has never been to Niagra Falls, though, so I want him to see it in person. I love how you can hear the roar of the falls throughout the town.

That roar was so powerful! Hope George will get to see the fall. It’s not far from Boston, I know you visit Boston sometimes. BTW, I’ll email you tomorrow.

I have very fond memories of time spent at Niagara Falls, although my photos don’t compare to yours Amy. Beautiful!

Oh… home
Last week I posted some night pics of the Falls for the Illumination theme. It is always beautiful and amazing. I took it for granted since it was only a stone’s throw from my backyard, but working there seeing the wonder it created for visitors the world over gave me a greater appreciation.
Nice shots too

We have been there a couple of times, but did not get to see the night scene. From you backyard… I’m sooo jealous! Have a great weekend!

Well in relative terms. I live 25 minutes away. My friend lives 2 or 3 blocks away. You can hear the falls, but can’t see anything with houses and big hotels.
You have to see it at night too… so cool. Winter is amazing too with ice on the trees when it is cold
January 19, 2013 at 6:35 pm
lucky to be so close to it. It’s on my bucket list.
January 19, 2013 at 7:52 pm
Yes, but when you are so close to something so great you often take it for granted. Working there gave me new appreciation.
