Flashback
Rommel, the Sophomore Slump, has created the “Flashback Friday” feature for his blog, and he has received great responses from his followers and viewers, as always. I’m one of his over 1,600 followers (and the number is still growing). Now, Rommel is offering us an opportunity to make our own Flashback!

Our 5-hour hike from one end of Cinque Terre to the other was an adventure. I fell in love Cinque Terre the first time we were there, and loved even more the second time.

After hours of hiking in Dolomite, suddenly, we were standing in front of this immense field filled with wild flowers… We wandered there for a long watching clouds floating around the Alps. This beautiful scenery will stay with me forever long.

It took us a couple of days to get to the town, then hours of hiking to locate this five-million years old Earth of Pyramides.

Beautiful Mediterranean Beach…

We always enjoy staying in a small village. I specially love to watch how people interact with each other and one another on the street, in the alley and open market, that has lost in our modern city.

This gentleman’s smile brings me sweet memory of our trip.

A big celebration in a small, charm town.

How could one not get excited watching the flag throwing?

While walking in a small village, we ran into a group of students. As soon as I finished taking a photo of them, they all dashed toward me and wanted to have a photo taken with me. :)

Dordogne River was beautiful beyond words.

The French chef was preparing a feast for over 200 local people.

Tre isole, Italy, was picturesque.
I never get tired of studying the history and reading, researching, visiting, and telling stories about monuments, ruins, treasures, and art works:
America! America!

That’s why I love doing features. I have been planning to feature your blog for a while. Then I give myself permission to spend a lot of time on one blog. With my poor internet service, I run out of gigabytes by this time of the month until the 24th. So I have to surf from 12:00 – 5:00 am. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. You have done so much! And your pictures are fabulous!!! I’m so in awe!!!

I was in awe the very first time I viewed your Flashback Friday. I thought it was so cool to get to do it. Sorry about not meeting the deadline, I tried more than a couple versions before putting it out. The pressure was ON, you know…
Thank you, Rommel!
