A Word A Week: Round
This week’s Word a Week photo challenge is round.
Arches National Park in Utah is known for preserving natural sandstone arches in 76,679 acres. According to Wikipedia, forty-three arches have collapsed due to erosion since 1970. Above is one of the amazing 2,000 sandstone arches.
Below is the famous Vatican stairs spiral. It was wide enough to allow horse riding. In the old-time, Popes used this stairs to escape:
During the summer, there is a series of opera performances in this Roman Arena in Verona. It was the third largest Arena in the Roman world and dated the first century:
Marqueyssac garden, located in Vézac, France, is edged with 150,000 hand-pruned hundreds year old boxwoods, many are in perfect round shapes:

love your photos … we were at marqueyssac gardens in september, and i was in Arches NP in 1968, so you have taken me on quite a trip this morning!
